The Participants in the scientific symposium about ( Libyan Economy and the World Trade Organization.. Opportunities and Challenges ) recommended the necessity to boost the competitive capability of the national economy.

They underlined the need to support of the non-state sector in terms of financing , organizing and preparing the infrastructure of the economy to attract local and foreign investments.

They also recommended, at the concluding of the symposium on Wednesday, the reconstructing of the banking system to ensure a change in ownership manner, in addition to developing the instruments of banking and financial dealing to cope up with modern developments in the banking and financial systems in the world.

The recommendations also affirmed the importance for working to prepare and modernize an accounting structure to create a harmony between the accounting system applied in Great Jamahiriya and the requirements of the world accounts systems

Among other recommendations, the participants called for activating and developing of a dialogue, coordination and cooperation mechanism between the developing countries within the World Trade Organization to benefit from the advantages provided by the organization .
