30.01.2007 Secretary of GPC for Manpower Training and Employment confirmed that the number of organized foreign labor according to law in Great Jamahiriya is around (36.000 ) workers among more than half million of unorganized labor. The Secretary told the mass media Sunday in Tripoli that around ( 670.000 enter Great Jamahiriya and seek work causing many health and social problems . He indicated that Great Jamahiriya has no problems with the organized labor needed by public sectors or foreign companies since such labor force is limited and its entry and employment is according to previous arrangements. He pointed out that foreign labor took advantage of the easy entry to Libya that includes those with criminal records in their country of origin resulting in negative influence from the security prospective. The Secretary underlined that most countries in the world never allow foreigners on their territories unless they are officially registered and have the possibility of getting a job in those countries.
