Secretary of GPC for Health and Environment, in his response to the questions addressed by BPC regarding the accountability of the Health and Environment Sector during the evening session on Sunday of the GPC, pointed out that several hospitals were developed in different Shabias of Great Jamahiriya, in addition to organizing training courses to upgrade the competence of the Libyan medical elements in order to provide advanced medical services.

The Secretary indicated that the Visiting Doctors Program was reactivated and most health utilities were supplied with modern equipments at a cost of more than ( 200 ) million dinars.

He said :( This matter led to positive results by the testimony of the World Health Organization and the Visiting Doctors as well ) .
