General People's Congress's Committees to collect the final draft of the resolutions reached by Basic People's Congresses have begun their works before noon today at the Ouagadougou Complex Halls in the city of Sert .

The Assistant Secretary of GPC has announced at the opening session of the conference that members of the Congress were divided into five committees to compile these draft resolutions.

The first of these Committees is the Laws Committee chaired by the Secretary of General People's Congress and membership of Secretary of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Congress, Secretaries of GPC's for Inspection and People's Control, Justice, Education, Manpower Training and Employment, Tourism, Chief of the Supreme Court, Public Prosecutor and secretaries of General Syndicates for Lawyers, Legal Consultants, Teachers, Engineering and Medical Professions, Pharmacists, Farmers, Tourism and Bakeries, in addition to other members of GPC.

The second committee is, Budget's Committee chaired by Secretary of People's Committees' Affairs at the Congress, and the membership of Secretaries of General Planning Council, Secretary of General People's Committee, Secretaries of GPC's for Finance, Planning, Economy Trade and Investment, Assistant Secretary of GPC for Inspection and People's Control, Secretary of Auditing Board, Governor of Libya Central Bank, , in addition to a number of secretaries of unions, syndicates and professional associations.

The third committee is: Follow UP and Report's Committee, chaired by Secretary of People's Congresses Affairs at the GPC and includes Secretary of Unions , Syndicates and Professional Associations at the Congress , Assistant Secretary of GPC , Secretaries of GPC's for Agriculture, Higher Education, Communications and Transportation , Public Security, Health and Environment, Secretary of the Management Body of the Man Made River, Rail Roads , Deputy Governor of Libya Central Bank and a number of other members of the Congress. The fourth committee is : Foreign Policy Committee, chaired by Secretary of External Affairs at GPC and the membership of Secretary of Women's Affairs at the GPC, Secretaries of GPC's for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation, Culture and Information, Industry , Electricity, Youth ands Sports and Secretary of GPC for Social Affairs, in addition to other members of the GPC.

Assistant Secretary of GPC indicated that each of these committees include between 240 and 300 members of the GPC.

He pointed out that these Committees will submit the draft resolutions reached to the General People's Congress at general sessions during the Congress's meetings.
