The Secretariat of GPC for Higher Education discussed on Tuesday ,during its first meeting for the current year, the transformational projects of the Universities for this year and the approved allocations for the infrastructure of universities.

The Secretariat of the Committee approved the proposals of transformational projects for this year which include, new class rooms ,maintinance, laboratory's equipments, and providing text books and references for different universities.

The Secretariat recommended the support of university text books and supplying the cultural cooperation office with publications of various universities.

The Secretary of GPC for Higher Education underlined during the meeting , the need for serious follow up of curriculums at the universities and the use of the modern techniques.

The Secretary also called for upgrading the web sites of the universities in the Internet and to provide all data and information through the Internet.

The Secretariat sent a cable to the Leader of the Revolution in which it renewed the promise of being one of the messengers of the Green Thought, in addition to its commitment to work hard to advance Higher Education Sector in accordance with the brilliant visions of the Leader of the Revolution.
