The Central and Sub-Committees assigned to develop the educational curriculum for the Basic and Secondary education continued its meeting Monday evening in Tripoli . Education.

The meeting was devoted to follow up its works related to developing school curriculum to cope up with modern scientific developments and to draft policies adopted by the Basic People's Congresses regarding the Education Sector and to be in harmony with the thesis of the Jamahiri System.

The Secretary of Educational Curriculums' Department at the GPC for Education pointed out that this committee will set the weekly, monthly , and term and annual timetable for the Basis, and Inter-Mediate stages being essential for the educational process.

It is worth noting that the Central and Sub-Committees, assigned to develop school curriculums and prepare proposals related to the Basic and Inter-mediate Stages were formed according to a decree no. ( 461 ) by the Secretary of GPC for Education, include more than ( 150 ) experts in the field of education distributed between ( 14 ) sub-committees covering all school curriculums .
