10.01.2007 The Central and Sub-Committees assigned to develop the educational curriculum for the Basic and Secondary education held a meeting this morning in Tripoli in the presence of the Secretary of GPC for Education. The Secretary, in his speech at the meeting, has stressed the importance of developing school curriculum and to link them with the present and future away from dictating methods, calling upon all related bodies to take part in this essential educational process. The Secretary underlined the importance of opening the door for all to make this work a success through direct contact with the Secretariat of GPC for Education or through its web sites on the internet or through the assigned committees for this purpose. Sources of GPC for Education told Jana reporter that these committees include more than ( 150 ) experts in the field of education distributed between ( 14 ) sub-committees covering all school curriculums to cope up with modern scientific developments and in harmony with the civilized thesis of the Jamahiri Society.
