09.01.2007 The Secretary of GPC for Tourism and the French State Minister for Tourism attended Monday morning the signing of a cooperation agreement in Tourism between Great Jamahiriya and the French Odette Group for Tourism. The agreement, signed by the Secretary of Administrative Committee at the Tourism Development Department and the Director of the French Group for Tourism , provided for laying a map for the development of the Coastal Strip at Tubruq City,170 kms long including 17 complete tourist sites, in addition to the Coastal Strip of Subrata Region,( 20 kms long according to the General Plan for Tourist Development to be introduced to Libyan and Foreign Investors.
