The National Planting Campaign at Wadi Alloud Agricultural Project started today, Sunday, as a part of the National Planting Campaign in Great Jamahiriya for the Agricultural Season 2006 - 2007.

The launching of this Campaign at Wadi Alloud was attended by Secretaries of GPC for Agriculture, Water and Animal Wealth, the GPC of the Sector in Sert Shabia , the National Committee for the Youth Voluntary Work in Great Jamahiriya, and the Basic People's Congress of Abunjeem in the Shabia.

Sources at the General People's Committee for Agriculture, Animal and Water Resources reported that (100.000) seedlings were planted on the first day of the campaign, covering the area extending from Al-Hesha AbuNjeem to Alloud Project, with a participation of more than one thousand volunteers of the National Committee for the Youth Voluntary Work from different branches in Shabias of Great Jamahiriya, and associates of the People's Shift at the Armed People.

It is to be noted that the National Planting Campaign for the current agricultural season 2006 - 2007 aims at planting more than three and half million seedlings of forest and olive trees at Al-gabel Al-Akhder, Al-Jabal al-Gharbi and Wadi Alloud .
