Shell Exploration and Production Libya GmbH : OPEN INVITATION
PREQUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF AVIATION SERVICES

Shell Exploration and Production Libya GmbH hereby announces an Open Invitation to Aviation Service Providers to prequalify for a Tender with regard to the supply of Fixed Wing Aviation Services in support of their Drilling and Seismic activities within Libya. All interested parties must possess a valid Air Operator’s Certificate which complies with Civil Aviation Authorities of Libya. Potential parties will be subject to a prequalification audit by Shell Aviation.
 
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the following items:
 
Provision of 2-3 scheduled flights per week, utilizing Dash-8 or other Shell Group approved type of aircraft with similar passenger/cargo capacity, fully crewed and maintained, operating between Tripoli and other licensed airfields in Libya.
Provision of ad-hoc flights to supplement weekly scheduled flights.
Provision of passenger handling facilities, passenger briefing facilities, baggage handling facilities and other associated services.
 
Interested Contractors, certified and licensed in providing such services, are requested to submit a letter expressing their willingness to participate in a tender exercise, accompanied by supporting documents that contain valid information on the minimum requirements listed below:
- Company Profile;
- Evidence of Company’s registration in Libya (Local Company / Joint Venture);
- Details on Company’s Aircraft fleet i.e type, age, service details, availability etc;
- Details on Company’s Personnel (qualifications, years of work experience, etc.);
- Proof of experience in the subject type of works;
- References of similar projects, previously carried out;
- HSE matters: - (Company’s HSE Policy, dedicated HSE Officers, etc.);
