10.07.2008 PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR 2D SEISMIC ACQUISITION NC-115 BLOCK CONFIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR: …………………………………………… DATE: ………………………………………………………… Tripoli , July 2008 To whom it may concern We would like to inform you that Akakus Oil Operations (AOO) is currently carrying out a Contractor Pre-qualification process, in order to have an Approved Bidder List to tender a “2D Seismic Acquisition Services in NC115 Block”. As to perform this process, AOO has created certain questionnaire requesting basic information of companies to qualify that will have to be properly filled out and returned to the address below. Should said questionnaires not reach us at the requested date, your candidature will not be in the Approved Bidder List. The data you will provide to us will be analyzed by our Bid Committee, and if needed, we will inform you if an audit of your company would need to be performed. If results of data analysis and audit (in case it is needed) are positive, your company will be added to our Approved Bidder List. Adding your company to the Approved Bidder List will not guarantee that a Contract will substitute any of Akakus Oil Operation’s tender processes. Please make sure that the information you provide in this questionnaire is truthful and honest, Akakus Oil Operations doesn’t assume any kind of responsibility derived from it. All this information will be kept in strict confidentiality, according to applicable laws as per the attached questionnaires. Onshore 3D Seismic Acquisition Experience
RELEVANT SEISMIC PROJECT EXPERIENCE 1. Please provide experience works in providing land 2D seismic data acquisition services inside and outside Jamahiriya (dates, Km. area and Client name) of Surveys conducted in the last 5 years. Please, indicate if your company has experience conducting 2D seismic acquisition projects onshore "GSPLAJ". Do you understand the "GSPLAJ" regulatory requirements?
Do you have the resources and capability to obtain all the permits required? If so, provide details. 2- Please, indicate if your company has sufficient personnel and equipments to survey at the same time for approximately 1,200 km of 2D seismic lines 3- What is the largest 2D survey that your company has acquired in the last 24 months?
4- Evaluate, please, calendar time for performance of 2D seismic data acquisition 1200 km in size, assume 240 channels in active spread VP spacing 30 m, sweep length 8 sec 4 sweeps per VP. 5- Could you mobilize your crews and start acquisition 2D seismic data from 15 August 2008? 6- Please provide experience records and CVs of key services personnel for 2D seismic data acquisition. 7- Please, provide experience in using new technologies introduced within last three years.
EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES 1- Please provide details of all vibrators in your fleet (type, quantity, age, GPS Vibe positioning Unit, vibrator electronics and Controller, quality assurance equipment). 2- Please provide details of Recording System and tape cartridges for 2D seismic data acquisition ( type, age). 3- Describe, please, how you plan to provide Quality control in place for all aspects of surveying and positioning work. 4- Describe, please, how you plan to provide field seismic data QC and processing. 5- Please, provide details of acquisition of Uphold Data (Uphole recording equipment, Uphole energy source, uphole logging equipment). 6- Please provide experience records and CVs of key services personnel for acquisition of Uphole data. 7- Evaluate, please, calendar time for performance of Uphole program for 250 holes to acquire near surface velocity data down to 100m.
