Announcement (Pre-qualification Invitation)

Mabruk Oil Operations invites interested local and international companies (or their representatives) specializing in provision permanent down hole quartz gauges for

oil wells to submit it to MOO their completed prequalification documents, for

evaluation and preparation of a bidders list as MOO intends shortly to issue a Call

or Tender for pressure measurements for MABRUK Oil Field as described below:

Field location:

Mabruk Field ( C17 ) is an onshore field located about 170 kilometers to the south

of Sirte City .

Scope of supply:

The required provision permanent down hole quartz gauges for oil wells, 10 sets.

Qualification Requirements:

Interested companies for the above indicated tender must satisfy the requirements stated on the prequalification questionnaire and submit the required information. (Please complete required

details only on prequalification forms / questionnaires).

Important note:

The prequalification request is not an invitation to tender.

Only qualified companies that meet the pre-qualification criteria, which shall be

determined at MOO sole discretion, will be included in the bidders list. MOO reserves

the right to reject any and/or all companies at its sole discretion. Such act by MOO ,

shall be final and shall not be contested or challenged by any participants.

Furthermore, this pre-qualification invitation implies neither commitment nor obligation, implied or otherwise, for MOO to issue a tender enquiry or enter into a contract.

The whole cost incurred in the preparation and submission of the prequalification documents, visits and any other costs of whatsoever nature incurred in connection with this invitation, shall be Bourne by companies.

Participation :

This announcement will remain posted on the NOC & MOO websites until 12:00 hrs local time, 2ND of June 2008 . The last date to receive the prequalification

documents is 04/06/2008 at 12:00 hrs.

Accordingly, all interested contractors should submit the required prequalification information (prequalification questionnaire) no later than this date. Any document submitted after this date will be disregarded.

The Prequalification questionnaire forms will be made available to interested companies only by email upon formal request which should clearly indicate the name of the company, address, phone number, personnel to contact, an email address and stating clearly his intention and interest to participate.

The request by interested companies for the prequalification questionnaire should be by fax and email strictly to the following address:
