D 103 New water injection surge tank at

Zueuitina Oil Co. Intends to Release an Invitation to Tender Injection Surge Tank at 103D Bid No. (21/2008)

Summary of project scope of work and supply

Zueitina Oil Company operates a water injection system at our 103E satellite field that consists of 12 injectors which are supplied via a 13km, 12"Dia High pressure water injection pipeline from 103D. The 103E water injection system facilities, which are all located at 103D, consist of transfer pumps, filtration, storage tank, booster pumps and HP water injection pumps.

The Company intends to construct a new 20,000 bbl Water Injection Surge Tank adjacent to the existing 3,000 bbl Water Injection Tank at 103D, and which should be put into service no later than the 2nd Qtr. of 2009 to coincide with the installation of an additional HP W.I.Pump which is being handled by others. The existing 3,000 bbl Water Injection Tank will be converted to a Make-Up water service and a suitable transfer pump will need to be provided and installed to allow intermittent top-ups of the new main surge tank.

The Scope of Work and Supply will include the engineering, procurement of all materials and construction /commissioning for a new 20,000 bbl water injection surge tank, transfer pump, inter-connecting & hook-up piping, gas blanketing, coatings, control, electrical and civil components of the project to provide a complete and operational system. Tie-in points on the existing system are available and the commissioning & tie-in of the completed tank and piping will need to be completed in such a way as to allow the continuous and uninterrupted operation of the existing system.

A critical component of the engineering will be materials and coatings. The existing system uses aquifer water as an injection media, but the imminent changeover to highly corrosive produced water with a high sulpher content will require material and coating selections to suit that service.

Conditions & Requirements for This Tender:-

1- Submission of all necessary documents and licenses confirming registration according to applicable laws and procedures in Jamahiriya.

2- Submission of experience records and C.V's of key personnel specialized in the required work.

3-Submission of a bank statement of the company from a commercial bank.

4- Submission of a tax declaration from general tax department.

5-Submission of a company profile with the related data of projects executed – man power and equipments owned by the company.

6-Full address for the company main office and it's branches, inside or outside Jamahiriya, with Zueitina having the right to check or visit these offices if deemed necessary.

7-It is necessary to fill or complete the data and information stated in the attached forms on the web side.

8-All related documents and information to be addressed to the Bids Committee’s Coordinator at 6th floor Zueitina oil co. Building main office Tripoli – SIDI ISSA STREET. Last date for submission of the required data is at 12:00 o'clock Monday May 05th, 2008.
