National Company for drilling and maintenance of oil wells held a meeting with national companies and tasharukiat operating in the field of oil supplies and services at the headquarter of National Company for drilling and maintenance of oil wells.

It is through discussion with the heads and representatives of companies and tasharukiat found that there are observations as follows:

  • Increasing the duration of the presentations because it is related to the responses of manufacturers and foreign companies.
  • To speed up the payment of the value of invoices.
  • The participation of bidders to attend opening envelopes.
  • To clarify the reasons for refusing the offers.
  • Monitoring actual budgets and speed up the announcement of the presentations.
  • Not to rely on the experience factor while providing adequate safeguards for that.

The Chairman of the Management Committee of the National Company for drilling and maintenance of oil wells emphasized that will be taking all these observations into consideration.
