Within the framework of the overseas companies’ follow-up by NOC, a meeting was held between NOC’s Chairman and Management Committee Members and a number of Chairmen from the Oil Companies, where various issues relating to the companies’ activities were discussed such as:

- The emphasis on public announcement of Tenders and job vacancies on both NOC and the relevant company websites, to give the opportunity of participation to all interested parties.

- Follow-up on the transfer of Umm Al-Jawaby Co. and Medoil Co. activities to Libya.

- Procedures for employment of nationals & expatriates.

- Registration of Companies & Contractors at the General Secretariat of the People’s Committee of Commerce & Economy.

- Priority being given in the execution of oil activities to national companies.
