The Secretary of the Administrative Committee of the National Oil Corporation met Tuesday morning in Tripoli with Omani Minister of National Economy, supervisor of the ministry of Finance, and the Minister of Commerce and Industry, and who are accompanying Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, who is currently on visit to Libya.

During the meeting, the Minister of National Economy, supervisor of the ministry of Finance, emphasized that his country wants to establish a joint Libyan-Omani investment fund aimed at establishing joint companies in the different areas.

He underscored the importance of establishing this fund to enter all African and international markets, due to Libya's distinct geographical location, a European neighbor and the gate way of north Africa.
The meeting discussed means of promoting common cooperation in the areas of oil and gas
