The Libyan Investment Company for Africa and affiliated companies concluded the third annual meeting yesterday in the Malian capital of Bamako .
Company Sources told Jana correspondent delegates to the meeting which lasted for two days discussed the budget for the second half of the year, reviewed progress in projects of the quintuple plan and potential investments in African countries.
One of the topics on the agenda was the progress of Hotel Services Company, one of the company's arms based in Tunis that's operating several hotels owned by LICO in the African continent.
Companies were called to report to the parent company of any investment opportunities to be discussion and decision.
The meeting, the first LICO board to be held outside Libya was attended in addition to company's affiliates CEOs, by Malian Tourism Minister and the Chief of the Libya -Africa Investment Portfolio, and the Secretary and members of the Libyan People's Bureau. The delegates were received by President Amadou Toumani Tore.
