Functions of the second round of Libyan Tunisian Fair for Services kicked of Tuesday evening at Tripoli International Fair
More than 200 Libyan Tunisian companies in the field of tourist services Studies and Consultation Offices health services education training media services communication transportation petroleum services and banking and insurance services
The fair is organized by the Joint Libyan Tunisian Economic Chamber and Exports Promoting Center in Tunisia under the auspices of GPC for Economy Trade and Investment and the Tunisian Ministry of Trade and Traditional

The opening of this fair was attended by Secretary of GPC for Economy Trade and Investment and the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Traditional Industry Director General of Exports Promoting Center in Tunisia Director of Arab American Chamber of Commerce the General Delegate of Great Jamahiriya to Tunisia and the General Delegate of Tunisia to Libya in addition to a number of economic activists and businessmen from both countries and the members of Political Missions accredited to Libya.
Secretary of GPC for Economy Trade and Investment in his speech at the opening of this fair underlined the importance of organizing such fairs in order to deepen the ties of brotherhood and economic integration
He noticed that the size of trade exchange will witness great increase following the effectuation of identity certificates as of the beginning of January 2008
On his part the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Traditional Industries asserted the importance of this economic manifestation in promoting economic and trade integration between the two countries
The Tunisian Minister announced the inauguration on Tuesday of a branch of the Arab International Bank of Tunis in Libya to facilitate banking transactions between economic activists and businessmen in both countries.
Following that the audience took a tour around the various pavilions of the fair that will continue till the 6th of this current month.
On the margin of this fair held once every two years in both countries seminars will be organized dealing with Libyan Tunisian partnership in the fields of housing contracting engineering consultation offices and financing of investment projects in both countries and the African continent
