A meeting was held on Sunday in Sabha Shabia to view outcomes of Fezzan Region's scheme.
The meeting was attended by Administrative Committee's Secretary for Urbanization Planning Authority Secretaries of Planning Councils of Sabha and Murzoq Shabias Deputy Director of the Third Generation Schemes Project at the Engineering Consultancy Bureau for Public Utilities Branch's Secretary of Urbanization Planning Authority Director of Authority's Bureaus in the Shabias of Sabha Wadi alHayat Murzoq and Ghat and a number of engineers and experts of the Consultancy Bureau.
The participants discussed the existing and the future situations evaluation of 2nd Generation Schemes development and its strategic objectives alternative schemes and up dating of planning criteria.
The meeting considered analysis of future forecasts and correction of the current development plan to reach sustainable equilibrium development scheme for Fezzan's region
Deputy Director of the Third Generation Schemes Project indicated that preparation of the project's study and results came in accordance with implementation of the contract signed by Engineering Consultancy Bureau for Public Utilities and Urbanization Planning Authority to provide opportunities to the Libyan consultancy bureaus to take part in this project to qualify national cadre in this field.
