Libya have announced an allotment of 60 billion dinars (49.3 billion dollar) for construction of more than half a million housing units ending by 2012.

The allotted amounts have distributed among banks, systems, foundations, foreign and local executive agencies.

The projects be executed recently in fields of housing, drainage or water treatment stations have reached up to 127 projects at cost for 14 billion dinars (11.5 billion dollar) and system of execution of housing projects has signed three contracts for construction of a nine thousands housing units in many cities at cost exceeds 1.12 billion dinars (920 million dollar).

The system has also signed other seventeen contracts for construction of the integrative projects of housing in many cities at cost exceeds 2.35 billion dinars (1.93 billioin dollar).
