Description:
 We’re currently looking to recruit a Salesperson to maintain and develop existing customer relationships, and identify and win new business. This will be achieved using face-to-face selling and negotiating skills to grow the lubricant and grease business in Libya.

 Responsibilities:
As a Salesperson, you will work directly with AlRaied customers, planning calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new customers, with a focus on retaining and expanding existing business relationships. We’ll expect you to increase the value for existing AlRaied customers through cross, range and up-selling, and to develop new opportunities with prospective customers, both independently and from leads developed through tele-prospecting. You’ll understand the activities and needs of customers, provide sound information and advice on products and services, and sell and negotiate win-win solutions. You’ll also plan, monitor and achieve individual and team sales targets along with margin and growth targets. In addition, to these activities, you’ll be expected to:
–-Grow business in Libya by seeking new customers
–-Review and plan customer business, contracts, prices and credit terms
–-Carry out price negotiations with customers, prepare quotations and proposals and agree on all operational requirements including price, contract, payment terms and services.
–-Ensure that all customer interaction activities are properly logged and updated in the appropriate IT systems
–-Propose and sell marketing initiatives to new and existing customers
–-For new and existing key customers, define and regularly review key account plans which address the long term strategic partnership
–-Take ownership for sharing knowledge for the benefit of the team in order to develop sales and marketing expertise
–-Enhance the learning culture within Sales
–-Be accountable for your own development plan to continuously improve competencies. Requirements:
With excellent commercial and communication skills, you’ll have a bachelor or master’s degree or proven experience in either an office or field-based sales environment.
A good working knowledge of B2B and financials is essential, and you’ll have a particular interest in transport and logistics.
Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management is desirable and you should be IT literate.
Knowledgeable in Arabic and English, and because AlRaied is an internationally oriented business, you’ll also be able to write and speak excellent English.
