OXY Libya, LLC invites applications for the post of a Drafting Technician at our Tripoli offices.
Oxy is a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, the 10th largest oil and gas company in the world. Oxy has had interests in the exploration and production of oil in Libya since 1965.
The successful candidate must be motivated, creative, and require minimal supervision, He/She must also anticipate priorities, and be willing to ask for insight from his/her clients. Essential Job Duties:
· Create Maps, Illustrations (Montages) and official documents.
· Candidate will be working with multiple Departments within Oxy and multiple managers.
· Time and job management and a client oriented attitude is critical
Years of experience preferred:
· 3 years of experience in a similar role/environment
Required Qualifications
· Good written/verbal communication skills in English
· Strong PC skills including MS Office Suite, PhotoShop and Corel Draw. Arc GIS and AutoCAD are a plus
· Strong graphic skills ( Maps & Illustrations)
· Must work well and efficiently with multiple clients
· Positive attitude and aggressive approach to tasks
· Excellent organizational skills
· Attention to detail, adaptability to change
· Ability to operate under pressure, meet deadlines and multi tasking
