The Leader of the Revolution this evening received President Hosni Mubarak, of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who arrived in Libya .
The Leader of the Revolution and President Hosni Mubarak held a session of talks, which dealt with the current Arab situations and a number of international issues of common interest.
The session of talks was attended by Maj.Gen Mustafa Mohammad al-Kharrubi and Maj.Gen. al-Khweldi al-Hmedi.
The Leader of the Revolution and President Hosni Mubarak continued their consultations and discussion of these issues at a dinner banquet hosted by the Leader of the Revolution in the honor of President Mubarak and his accompanying delegation.
The session of talks as well as the banquet was attended by the Secretary of the General People's Committee the Secretaries of the General People's Committees for Foreign Liaison & International Cooperation and for Culture & Information, the Secretary of the Arab Affairs Department at the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison & International Cooperation and the accompanying delegation including Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Information, Trade & Industry, the Minister Omar Soliman, the Head of the Presidential Office, the Official Spokesman of the Republic Presidency and Charge d'affaires of the Libyan-Egyptian Relations Follow-up Bureau in Libya.
The Secretary of the General People's for Foreign Liaison & International Cooperation clarified that the session of talks between the Leader of the Revolution and President Mubarak focused on the situations in the Arab region and the importance of a specific Arab stance towards international issues and the challenges faced by the Arabs everywhere at all levels.
The Secretary told JANA reporter the session of talks also discussed a number of international issues and broadening of (5+5) dialogue to be (6+6) so that it includes Egypt and Greece for their importance and role in the region; especially, regarding development, illegal immigration, security and environment in the Mediterranean Sea.
