The census amounted 5,673,000 persons 5,323,000 of them are Libyan, while the rest are foreigners. This census puts headlines to prospective visions, where age composition of the population has witnessed a major change; the population average increased to over 15 years aged people. The educational level also jumped to remarkable change within three decades where illiteracy reached 12%, while high studies graduates raised from 3% to 13% beside increase in intermediate diplomas. The economical activity ratio has been ascended, due to growth if citizens in work age, compared % with their ratio previously, this shows reduction in average of sustenance to 3.2. Dr. Albagdadi said that all indications of this census open wide horizons for prospective ideas to rebuild some foundations of the society and to build up institutions with obvious factors claim to reform some errors that form blockade to develop the society. We are concerned to improve how to serve the citizen in all sectors starting from basic stage up to university as for education in which the state depends on; to create the achievement said Dr. Albagdadi announced that Libya intends to establish a major investment area in the region that would make Libya to be international commercial crossroads.
